I lived on Maui for six months and then moved to Kauai, and made my home there for thirteen years. The people of Hawaii are a rainbow melting pot of humanity full of ALOHA.

Maui will disappear as we know it without help from around the world. It was no “act of nature” that destroyed Lahaina and its sacred people. Even as I write this, the vultures are descending upon the desperate and disenfranchised.
