My Passage into Avalon

First please read part one about my near-death experience.

One or two nights after I had the near-death experience, I experienced a dream that wasn't a dream, or maybe it was an out-of-body experience, but it was like nothing I'd ever felt before; and I tend to feel now that it was a replay of something that had happened between the time that Thoth was guiding my soul back into my body, and the physicians revived me. In any case, I was shown that I was going into Avalon, and this was through the portal of Glastonbury. Now, as I say this, it all seemed like a higher version of what we think of these things. I say higher, more,as the word comes to me, “benefic.”

I can't say that there was a lot of detail to the experience, and yet it was so rich. There were women walking into beautiful pools. There was a lot of water. Strangely enough, I saw a photo album, that's the only way I could call it, with these beautiful pictures, and the color was so sharp everywhere, and yet soothing. And the pictures in the photo book seemed to be a family units, all happy, smiling, and radiating light. There was something about it that was so compelling that I just wanted to stay there.

Later, I received the words, "The Rose of Tyne,” which is still somewhat of a mystery to me, but it had to do with an order or grouping of family spirit consciousness. And the roles these family spirits play in the 3D reality we exist within. I browsed to find “Rivers of Tyne between Scotland and England. They seemed to be somewhat mysterious, but didn’t have the energy to go further with it.

At this time I can only say that this Avalon/Rose of Tyne experience was what we might call a drifting into the Afterlife, like on the Barge of Avalon. And yet the “Afterlife” is a nebulous term to describe the soul family streams we follow in our truest nature beyond the pale of our 3D physical understanding. Yet.we LONG for it in those still moments of in-between. For me it out-pictured in that experience as “Avalon.”
